LightLeapAI^® Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy

Applies to: LightLeapAI® web and mobile applications

Please read. These Terms govern your use of LightLeapAI®, operated by N2N Services, Inc. ("N2N," "we," "us"). By using LightLeapAI®, you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy in Part II. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your Organization. You are using LightLeapAI® because an organization, such as your college or university (your "Organization"), has an agreement with N2N and has given you access. Your Organization is N2N's customer, and you are an authorized user. These Terms cover your individual rights and responsibilities. They do not change your Organization's agreement with N2N, and if the two conflict, your Organization's agreement controls.

Part I — Terms of Service

1. LightLeapAI®. LightLeapAI® is an AI-powered platform. Depending on what your Organization subscribes to, it may include Meridian (enterprise application platform), including Prism (document intelligence) and Polaris (student services automation); Orion (fraud intelligence); Helios (integration and agent platform); and Omnia (executive intelligence hub). Questions about which features are available to you should go to your Organization's administrator. Support: appsupport@n2nservices.com. Privacy: privacy@n2nservices.com. Security: security@n2nservices.com.
2. Eligibility and Accounts.

2.1 Age. You must be at least 18 years old. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will close the account and delete the associated data.

2.2 Provisioning. Your Organization provides your account, often through its identity provider. You may not share, transfer, or sell your credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you believe your credentials have been compromised, notify your Organization and security@n2nservices.com immediately.

2.3 Accurate information. Give accurate information. Submitting false identity documents, transcripts, or other records may violate the law as well as these Terms.

2.4 Ending access. Your Organization may end your access at any time. N2N may suspend or end your access for violations of these Terms, or when your Organization's agreement ends.

3. Using LightLeapAI®.

3.1 License. Subject to these Terms, N2N grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use LightLeapAI® for the purposes your Organization authorizes.

3.2 Inputs and Outputs. You are responsible for what you submit ("Inputs"). LightLeapAI® generates responses, scores, extractions, drafts, and other results ("Outputs"). Your Organization's agreement with N2N governs how its data, including your Inputs, is handled.

3.3 AI Outputs. Outputs are produced by AI and may be wrong, even when they look specific or confident. Outputs, including fraud risk scores, identity verification results, and document extractions, are indicators, not decisions, and are not the sole basis for adverse action affecting you or any student. Verify Outputs before relying on them. If you believe an Output affecting you is wrong, contact your Organization.

3.4 Applications built by your Organization. Some applications and workflows you use in LightLeapAI®, including those built in Meridian, are created and configured by your Organization. Your Organization is responsible for their content and for the decisions they support.

3.5 AI agents. Some features use AI agents that can draft responses or take actions within the permissions your Organization has configured. Review agent-drafted content before you send or rely on it.

3.6 Not an emergency service. LightLeapAI® is not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger in the United States or Canada, call 911. For a mental health crisis in either country, call or text 988.

3.7 No training on your content. N2N does not use your Inputs or your Organization's data to train AI models for anyone else. See our Privacy Policy.

3.8 No payments. You do not pay N2N to use LightLeapAI®. Billing is between N2N and your Organization.

4. Intellectual Property. N2N owns LightLeapAI® and its software, models, interfaces, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative works of LightLeapAI®. "LightLeapAI®" and the module names are trademarks of N2N Services, Inc.
5. Privacy. The LightLeapAI® Privacy Policy at lightleap.ai/legal/privacy/ is part of these Terms. LightLeapAI® controls AI access to data through the Integrated Context Control Protocol (ICCP) (lightleapai.com/iccp/). Where your Organization has a Data Sharing Agreement with N2N, that agreement governs student and institutional data.
6. Security. Do not share credentials, access data you are not authorized to see, probe or test LightLeapAI® for vulnerabilities, or introduce malicious code. Report suspected incidents to your Organization and to security@n2nservices.com.
7. Accessibility. If you have difficulty accessing any part of LightLeapAI®, contact appsupport@n2nservices.com or your Organization's accessibility office.
8. Disclaimers. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIGHTLEAPAI® IS PROVIDED TO YOU "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WARRANTIES N2N GIVES UNDER ITS AGREEMENT WITH YOUR ORGANIZATION RUN TO YOUR ORGANIZATION, NOT TO YOU INDIVIDUALLY.
9. Limitation of Liability. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, N2N IS NOT LIABLE TO YOU FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. N2N'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU INDIVIDUALLY WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (US$100). THIS DOES NOT AFFECT N2N'S OBLIGATIONS TO YOUR ORGANIZATION, OR ANY RIGHTS YOU HAVE THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER THE LAW WHERE YOU LIVE.
10. Your Responsibility. You are responsible for claims arising from your violation of these Terms or the law, or from false information you submit, and you agree to reimburse N2N's reasonable costs, including attorneys' fees, to the extent those claims result from that conduct and the law permits.
11. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and disputes between you and N2N will be resolved in the state courts of Gwinnett County, Georgia, or the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Disputes between N2N and your Organization are governed by their agreement.
12. Changes. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here, keep prior versions at lightleap.ai/legal/terms/archive/, and notify you through LightLeapAI® of material changes. If you keep using LightLeapAI® after a change takes effect, the revised Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using LightLeapAI® and tell your Organization.
13. General. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the AUP are the entire agreement between you and N2N about your individual use. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. N2N's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Questions: legal@n2nservices.com.

Part II — Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all Users of LightLeapAI® and is part of the Terms of Service above. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access, reporting to your Organization, or referral to law enforcement where required.

AUP 1. Permitted Use. You may use LightLeapAI® only for lawful purposes that are: authorized by your Organization under its agreement with N2N; consistent with your assigned role (student, staff, faculty, administrator); consistent with applicable law, including FERPA, HIPAA (where applicable), Title VI, Title IX, Section 504, the ADA, and applicable state and provincial laws; and consistent with your Organization's own policies on technology and student data.

AUP 2. Higher Education-Specific Prohibitions.

2.1 Fraud and misrepresentation. Using LightLeapAI® to submit, assist in, or conceal fraudulent enrollment, financial aid, or admissions activity; submitting false or fabricated identity documents, transcripts, credentials, or other records; attempting to manipulate, circumvent, or deceive fraud detection or identity verification algorithms or scoring outputs; using Outputs to help another individual evade fraud detection; or misrepresenting your identity or another person's to an institution.

2.2 Unauthorized access to student data (FERPA). Accessing, extracting, sharing, or disclosing student education records or personally identifiable information beyond the scope of your assigned role and authorization; aggregating or exporting student data for purposes not authorized by your Organization or the applicable Data Sharing Agreement; or accessing another student's records or application data without authorization.

2.3 Discriminatory use. Using Outputs to discriminate against students or applicants based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, religion, or any other characteristic protected by law, including Title VI, Title IX, Section 504, and the ADA; or building or supporting discriminatory profiles, scoring systems, or selection processes.

2.4 Adverse decisions without human review. Using fraud risk scores, identity verification results, or behavioral analytics as the sole basis for any adverse action affecting a student, including denial of enrollment, financial aid, housing, or services, without appropriate human review; or circumventing institutional human review processes.

2.5 Protected health information and payment card data. Processing Protected Health Information under HIPAA unless your Organization has activated a Business Associate Addendum with N2N; processing payment card data subject to PCI DSS; or configuring any application, form, or agent in Meridian to collect payment card numbers or other cardholder data.

AUP 3. Universal Prohibitions.

3.1 Illegal activity. Using LightLeapAI® in any manner that violates applicable law; exporting data or software in violation of export control laws; or facilitating human trafficking, money laundering, or other criminal activity.

3.2 Security and infrastructure. Probing, scanning, or testing LightLeapAI® or any connected system for vulnerabilities without written authorization from N2N; attempting unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data; introducing malware or malicious code; conducting denial-of-service attacks or degrading availability; attempting to bypass authentication, session controls, or ICCP access governance; circumventing or reverse-engineering security controls, algorithms, or scoring models; or attempting to bypass usage limits, budget caps, or rate limits.

3.3 Intellectual property. Reproducing, distributing, or creating derivative works of LightLeapAI® or its content without authorization; using LightLeapAI® to infringe third-party intellectual property rights; or scraping or harvesting data or content by automated means.

3.4 Privacy and identity. Collecting personal information about others without authorization; impersonating any person or entity or falsely representing your affiliation; or using LightLeapAI® for surveillance, tracking, or monitoring of individuals without authorization.

3.5 Harmful and dangerous content. Generating, distributing, or seeking instructions for weapons, explosives, or dangerous substances; facilitating violence, threats, or harassment; generating or seeking child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes or exploits minors; promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders; or generating content that incites hatred or discrimination based on protected characteristics.

3.6 Misinformation and deception. Generating or distributing deliberately false or misleading information; impersonating real individuals or creating fake personas with deceptive intent; presenting AI-generated Outputs as human-generated where the context requires transparency; or spreading misinformation about laws, regulations, academic policies, or institutional procedures.

3.7 Platform integrity. Using LightLeapAI® to develop competing products, services, or AI models; reselling, sublicensing, or providing access to unauthorized third parties; or using automated scripts or bots not authorized by N2N.

3.8 AI agents and integrations. Configuring an AI agent to take actions beyond your authorized role; using LightLeapAI® APIs or the MCP server to extract data in bulk beyond your Organization's authorization; connecting unapproved third-party AI tools to your Organization's data; or using prompts designed to make AI features disclose data, ignore their instructions, or bypass ICCP controls.

AUP 4. Reporting Violations. Report violations or suspicious activity to your Organization's IT or compliance office, or to security@n2nservices.com. Report concerns about AI output safety or accuracy to appsupport@n2nservices.com. N2N monitors for AUP compliance and may suspend access without prior notice when a violation poses an immediate security or data protection risk.

AUP 5. Enforcement. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of access; notification to your Organization's administrator, compliance office, or Title IX or Section 504 coordinator; referral to law enforcement where required by law or where criminal activity is suspected; or civil or legal action by N2N or your Organization. N2N makes enforcement decisions in its reasonable judgment, consistent with its agreement with your Organization. Direct disputes about enforcement decisions to legal@n2nservices.com.
